Comparative Study on Foreign Investment Policies of Nepal

This project aimed to inform the Nepal government to adjust the investment policies to achieve the national goals and priorities. The study adopted to conduct consultations within residential and Nepali diaspora scholars, economists and business managers in Nepal, North America, Europe, Australia, Japan, Thailand, and Singapore. The study planned to review best practices looking into the foreign investment policies adopted by the countries in the South-East Asia region which is a hub of economic growth of this century. Eventually the study produces the alternative Foreign Investment Bill of Nepal 2019 and shares to public.
